The Agenda for the HI Family Conference is now available!
The conference will take place in Segrate, Italy on September 17 and 18, 2013. The dates and location have been chosen to coincide with the Joint Meeting of Pediatric Endocrinologists which will be held later the same week in Milan. The Joint Meeting occurs every 4 years and brings together the leading pediatric endocrinologists from all over the world. By holding our family conference the same week as the Joint Meeting in Milan, we are able to offer a program that includes many of the leading experts in the field of congenital hyperinsulinism (HI).
In addition to these experts we are equally thrilled that some of the most active HI family advocates from around the world will also be joining us and will be on the agenda.
This conference will mark the first time that a diverse group of experts and HI families from around the world will be meet in Europe. We are hoping that families from all over Europe will attend. We also have a few families coming from the U.S. and hope that families from other continents will also consider attending. This is an incredible opportunity for individuals and families affected by HI to learn together and get to know each other.
Scholarships are now available for the conference and have been generously donated by the COACH Group.
