World-renowned physicians, researchers, and specialists who treat children with congenital hyperinsulinism, and parent leaders in the fields of education, psychology, research, and advocacy will be speaking at the conference. There will also be ample opportunity for meeting and sharing experiences with other families who have children with congenital hyperinsulinism.

The conference will include:

  • Meet and greet Friday evening
  • A session on treatment options for HI
  • A session on understanding the genetics of HI
  • A session on the impact of an HI diagnosis on families
  • Updates on Investigational studies
  • A session on managing HI at School
  • A session on transitions with HI or diabetes
  • Family Dinner on Saturday Night
  • Sunday breakfast session
  • Informal recreational time for families on Sunday afternoon

The Conference will take place at the Stockton Seaview Hotel in the charming seaside town of Galloway, NJ, just 45 minutes from Philadelphia, two hours from Midtown Manhattan, and 8 miles from Atlantic City, NJ. There are excellent conference and resort facilities at the hotel. CHI has reserved a block of rooms at the Seaview. The rate is $159 a night. There is also a $3 room charge per family, per night for use of all the resort amenities. The rate does include taxes and fees. There are rooms with one king or two doubles. Cost: The registration for the conference is $75 per adult and teenager, which includes program registration and admission to all conference sessions, Meet and Greet Friday evening at 8 pm, Continental breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, and a working breakfast on Sunday. The registration for children under 12 is $50 and includes the conference meals. Children under 3 are free.
