CHI and CHC were joined in Liverpool by world-renowned physicians, researchers, congenital hyperinsulinism (HI) specialists, HI family members, and HI advocacy leaders.
Many of these experts presented at the conference, providing invaluable insights into the condition – you can view their presentations here. In addition to the informative presentations, we also had interactive sessions where individuals and families affected by HI came together to share their stories and experiences. This was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to learn from one another and form meaningful connections within the global HI community.
The conference started with a welcome reception at the Hilton Liverpool City Center on Thursday evening, November 14, 2024. Conference sessions took place at the hotel during the day on Friday, November 15, and during the morning of Saturday, November 16. On Friday evening, there was a conference dinner for all attendees.
Special programming for young adults, teens, and children was also available during conference sessions, as well as babysitting.
