The Second Congenital Hyperinsulinism International Pre-ESPE Family Conference in Dublin, Ireland

September 16-17, 2014, Congenital Hyperinsulinism International (CHI) invites you to the Second Pre-ESPE CHI Family Conference at the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in the south Dublin suburb of Killiney.

World-renowned physicians, researchers, and specialists who treat children with congenital hyperinsulinism, and parent and patient advocacy leaders will be speaking at the conference. There will also be ample opportunity for meeting and sharing experiences with other families who have children with congenital hyperinsulinism.

The conference will include sessions on:

  • Treatment options for HI
  • Understanding the genetics of HI
  • The impact of an HI diagnosis on families
  • Updates on investigational studies
  • Managing HI at School
  • Transitions with HI or diabetes

The Conference will take place at the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in the south Dublin suburb of Killiney. The hotel is situated at the brow of Killiney Hill, in the prestigious south Dublin suburb of Killiney and overlooking Dublin Bay. The hotel is just 14 km from Dublin’s center, and is easily accessible from the Dublin airport and ferry port. There are excellent conference and resort facilities at the hotel. CHI has reserved a block of rooms at the Fitzpatrick Castle and there are additional rates for those who would like to stay on after the conference.

Participants can make room reservations by phoning the Reservations Office of the Fitzpatrick Hotel between 9am – 5pm GMT Monday – Saturday at 353 1 2305556 or by emailing reservations@fitzpatricks.com. Reservations sent as emails should include the following:

  2. Departure date
  3. Number of people

  5. Credit card type, number, expiration date, name and security code

We ask that you register for the Conference by June 16, if possible. Reservations for rooms can be made until July 16, 2014. Please note that hotel room costs are in Euros and Conference registration costs are in U.S. dollars.
