Congenital Hyperinsulinism International is thrilled to announce family scholarship grants for the upcoming CHI Family Conference in Milan on September 17 and 18, 2013. The Family Scholarships will cover the cost of registration for two family members and one night at the conference hotel, the NH Milano 2 Hotel. This generous donation was provided by the COACH Group. The first 20 families to notify us of their interest and to provide full contact information will be given these scholarships. If you would like to receive a family scholarship grant for the Milan meeting, please contact me, Julie Raskin, at [email protected] and provide the following information:
- Names of up to two family members who will be attending the conference on the grant (More family members are welcome to come and can sign up and pay the registration fee on the CHI website: https://congenitalhi.org/pdf/2013-milan-info-and-registration.pdf).
- Cell phone number
- Land line phone number if you have one
- Street address with city and country
- Dates and number of nights staying at the NH Milano 2 Hotel
If you are interested in the scholarship, please also make your hotel reservations at the NH Milano 2 Hotel. When Congenital Hyperinsulinism International receives your request to receive the scholarship with the dates you will be staying at the hotel, we will contact the hotel and will see to it that the grant covers one night of your stay. If you have only reserved one night at the hotel, you will not be charged anything and the charge will be covered fully by the scholarship. If you have already signed up for the conference, you are still eligible for this grant. Please contact me if you would like to be included in the grant. We will send back confirmation emails to all who apply for this. The hotel requires that in the event of a need to cancel your reservation, you notify the hotel at least 3 full working days before planned arrival. Failing to notify the hotel within this time frame will result in a charge for one night at the hotel even if the room is covered by the scholarship.
We are so pleased to be able to offer this. The conference will be an excellent opportunity to get to know congenital hyperinsulinism families from around the world. We will have physician and clinical nurse participation from many of the leading HI treatment centers so the conference will be a fantastic opportunity to learn about congenital hyperinsulinism.
