HIGR Annual Reports

Every year, CHI publishes an annual report highlighting significant milestones from the past year, plus an updated snapshot of some key data from the registry. The Annual Reports are written for the HI community: people living with HI, their families, and anyone interested in HI and its related research.

Key highlights from the 2023 HIGR Annual Report:

2023 HIGR Annual Report

  • 512 participants from 57 countries contributed data to HI research
  • HIGR data supported the development of the International Guidelines for the Diagnosis and management of Hyperinsulinism
  • Posters sharing de-identified HIGR data were presented at two medical conferences
  • A new “Burden of Disease” section was added to the Annual Report
  • The HIGR platform now can support six additional languages and CGM data integration

  • 453 participants from 51 countries contributed data to HI research
  • Three peer-reviewed articles were published in medical journals using de-identified data from HIGR
  • Posters sharing de-identified HIGR data were presented at two medical conferences
  • Physician-reported data, MaxHIGR, was launched

Key highlights from the 2021 HIGR Annual Report:

2021 HIGR Annual Report

  • 335 participants from 46 countries contributed data to HI research
  • The Collaborative Research Network was launched and will create a prioritized research agenda for research priorities within the HI community
  • De-identified data from HIGR was presented virtually at two scientific meetings, the CHI Virtual Patient and Family Conference and the CHI Virtual Research Conference
