Blog post by HI father Saqib:
I am writing to share the wonderful achievement of my daughter, Abeera, who has been bravely dealing with hyperinsulinemia since birth. She has secured first position in her class. This accomplishment is truly a blessing and a very proud moment for our family.
Abeera was diagnosed when she was only four days old by the doctors at Children’s Hospital Lahore. From that very difficult time until today, the support and expert care provided by their dedicated team have been invaluable to us.
On this special occasion, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Sommaya Aftab, Dr. Tahir Shaheen, and all the respected doctors and staff who stood by us during every challenging moment. Their care, guidance, and encouragement gave us hope and strength. Because of their sincere efforts, our little star is shining brightly today and living a normal, successful life.
We are truly and forever grateful for everything they have done for our daughter and our family.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to CHI for standing steadfastly beside patients in Pakistan during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
Their support goes far beyond financial assistance—it brings hope, comfort, and renewed strength to families navigating incredibly difficult circumstances. In times marked by uncertainty and fear, their generosity provides reassurance and relief that words can scarcely express.

May their kindness and unwavering commitment continue to transform countless lives. Their compassion stands as a powerful reflection of true humanity and dedicated care.
I also wish to share Abeera’s achievement with other parents so that they do not lose hope. With the right medical care, support, and faith, children can overcome great challenges and achieve wonderful success.
