Milan Conference Update

Planning for the Congenital Hyperinsulinism International Family Conference in Milan, Italy is going extremely well.   We have families coming from Italy, Spain, Dubai, Paraguay, France, Germany, Austria, the U.K., Canada, and the U.S.  We have 15 speakers from Germany, Austria, Canada, the UK, and the U.S.  Speakers include leading congenital hyperinsulinism  researchers, practitioners, and patient advocates.

The conference which will take place at the NH Milano 2 Hotel in Segrate, Italy just outside of Milan, is filled with sessions on new cutting edge research as well as very informative subjects for families who may never have been to a conference.  Leading patient advocates from around the world who have been working to improve the lives of congenital hyperinsulinism patients are both a part of the agenda and will be available throughout the conference for one-on-ones.  Your patient voice and patient family voice are also very important to the conference’s success and we have sessions where you will have  a chance to share your experiences.

The Conference Agenda is now available in French, Spanish, and English.

Scholarships are still available to cover the registration fee for two family members and one night at the hotel, but you must complete and send in the hotel registration form by August 19 to receive one night at the hotel free of charge (You must reserve the room for the total number of nights you will be at the hotel and the hotel will bill one of your night’s to CHI).
